MicroContact AG celebrates its 40th anniversary.

2024

Development of the high-precision manual contacting unit MCit 2 for test points from 50µm.

2023

Expansion of the assembly area in Grenchen by 300m2.

The 100th machine is delivered.
2019
Development of the Move plug adapter.
2019
Development of the Fineliner standard parallel tester.
2016
Delivery of the first high-current tester.
2015
A first machine with the Brick control system is delivered.
2015
The succession process is concluded. Michel and Pascal Grimm are the second generation to head MicroContact AG.
2013
Development of the Sirius-adapter.
2012
Official integrator for Stäubli Robotics.
2011
MicroContact AG takes over TechnoSys AG.
2010
First integration of a robot into a MCom microtester.
2007
Development of the AOI handling system.
2003
The rigid needle adapter for 150µm pitch distances is developed.
2000
A fully automatic passive matching laser for trimming pressure resistors is developed.
1999
TechnoSys AG is founded by Markus Fürholz and Rolf Grimm. TechnoSys AG is continuing the activities of Fürholz Engineering.
1996
The fine-pitch adapter with 250µm pitch distances and 200 test points/cm² is developed.
1994
The first fully automatic microtester offers double-sided contacting.
1991
Production of the first semi-automatic tester with rigid needle adapters.
1991
The company moves into its own building in Lostorf.
1990
Beginning of cooperation with Fürholz Engineering to develop special machines for electrical testing technology.
1987
Manufacture of the first rigid needle adapter with deflected pins.
1984
Opening of the first bare board test centre in Switzerland. Design of customised test adapters for populated PCBs. We become the Swiss distributor for Ingun test probes and adapters and for ATG test equipment.
1984
Rolf and Marianne Grimm establish MicroContact AG, based in Dulliken.
